Frequently Asked Questions 

  • Is it really Vegan? YES!! No casein, no whey, no animal products of any kind! 

 

  • Does it really melt? Yes, it really melts!  Just preheat your oven to 450* if you are cooking in the oven (if you are cooking a casserole at another temperature and you want to melt cheese on top just cook it covered and when it's almost done put it under the broiler for a few minutes.) Vegan Gourmet also melts great in the microwave, a saucepot, or in sandwiches and quesadillas. 

  • Where is VG sold? Vegan Gourmet is currently available nationwide, although not all stores carry it yet. If your  local store or restaurant doesn't have the prodcut yet, please ask for it! You can refer the buyer to our website! 

 

  • Is VG available outside of the United States? Only in Western Canada. 

 

  • What is the shelf life of VG cheese? The shelf life of our cheese is 120 days. They  can be frozen, shredded, but we do not recommend freezing the whole blocks as the texture changes and becomes softer (not as good for slicing and shredding).
